What is the longest distance/time I should use for acc dev?
I think 30-40m is typical, but we sometimes use 60m as an accelertion/speed run…it trains both and you need to need to practice your transistion out of drive phase on occasion, IMHO.
When I run pure speed session like 60ms or flying sprints should I run them at 100% or 95% effort? Because at 100% effort I think I tend to stiffen up and my tecnique suffer I think.
I’ve always thought it should be 100% for max speed and accel. If you are tying up, you should probably do in and outs (hard-easy-hard) and focus on floating and relaxation. If you can’t learn to relax, you’ll have trouble improving your Max V.
