I was saying strength work in terms of in the weight room can mimic some of the neuromuscular stimuli you want in short accels. The stronger athletes usually exhibit faster acceleration up to 10-20m. I was just grasping at straws though as to what this athlete may be doing.
Sorry I misunderstood. I thought you were refering to what had already been called strength work. In his context, I don’t think he was talking about weight room strength, but endurance. I hear endurance work, in general, sometimes called strength work. My question to him was how fast is this strength work.
