Wow, what a week. I didn't get a workout in Tuesday because I had too much drama in my life and then ended up getting called in to work as well (though I could have and easily should have got a workout in). I'm ticked, but it's all coming to an end.
Yesterday, during weights, instead of running a tempo workout or lifting (Wednesday's are non-lifting days anyway), I went out and played Speed-a-way with the Freshman. It's like a mix of soccer and rugby for those who haven't heard of it and it's a great workout. My legs are fried. Seriously, my adductor area is hurting and overall my legs are weak. Just straight sprinting up and down the football field for an hour. But, I did remember to keep form, even when running with a soccer ball in one arm 😀 Plus, I got caught dropping an F-bomb and had to do 50 pushups (with 5 mins left in class so I was already spent), so I got it all in yesterday.
I noticed my form is really coming back. I know I keep mentioning form-form-form, but it's a big deal to me. Everyday, in any workout, I like to see improvement (as I should be wanting, obviously) and seeing improvements in form everyday is a great confidence builder going into future workouts, and eventually the season in a few weeks (Dec. 22 I begin…woo-hoo  ).
So, that's it for now. No school tomorrow so I'm going to do a hill workout with the 40yd program on Saturday and probably another hill workout on Sunday (sprints instead of GS, though).
