Well, I've done two workouts over the past 3 days…
Saturday – I got off work at 3:30 and didn't get home til 4 and didn't get to the track til 5 so I had to do a rushed workout on the track. I did an acc. dev.-type day (since I planned on doing the 40yrd program) with 5 20's and 2 30's b/c that's how much time the light outside would permit. And that was with rushing the rest. I was getting burned out pretty quickly.
Today – I did a GS hill workout consisting of a circuit of lunges, A's, high knees, bounding, and sprinting up a 20m grass hill. I did that circuit 3x's with walkdown rest b/t exercises and 2-3 minutes b/t sets. Good workout.
Positives – The acc. dev. workout I was flying. Speed was REALLY fast (as far as feel) and form was great. I'm in pretty good shape b/c doing the hill circuit 3x's was actually pretty easy. I felt good and though I felt the burn, it was still easy enough not to kill me. More improvements in form (or at least in consistency) and speed is slowly but surely coming back to me.
Negatives – I have to wait another 2 full weeks plus the rest of this week before I start training full-time. Looking forward to it but with work and school time has been limited to plan workouts. I have weights and track workouts to plan, but I'll have them both up within the next week for critiquing before I finalize them, I promise.
