Today was an Acc. Dev. day. I did 2x10m (kind of for warm up…not really necessary anymore), 8x20m and 2x30m.
I was really flying. I don't what it was, but I was so tired getting out of school and on the bus ride over to the track, but when I put on my Sevendust CD (get "Seasons"….great CD) and stepped off the bus onto the school campus my adrenaline just started flowing and I was sooo ready to run. It was weird considering how fried I felt at school.
Did a pretty fast warm up with a lot of intensity (probably because the JUCO girl's Softball team was out there 😆 ) and I was just ready to run.
During all runs it took me about 30-40m to slow down because I was just accelerating so hard (and because I don't like stopping fast) and every rep was run with quality, some more than others, but regardless they were all really fast.
I'm starting to feel confident in myself for the upcoming meet in 3 WEEKS!!! I should start off the season pretty well I think.
I didn't get to lift today because my mom's starting to exercise again so I had to put off my workout to help her out, so this week and next week I'm looking at only 2 lifting days so I can get her on track (and not our kind of track either 😉 ).
Tomorrow is an interval day with a workout I've been wanting to try for awhile….1/2/3/4/3/2/1 with about 200 or 300m walk rest. It's going to be fun! :dance:
