woke up sore…warmed up felt ok…IT WAS COLD…this morning the plan WAS 3 500’s at 15secs per 100m BUT it was my first time going over 200m since state last year…i wimped out and did 2 400m’s instead niether of which felt good at all (second was better than the first) which brings up my orginal problem with the 400m last year i just wasnt in shape for it…if i focus on the 400m or opt to try to make it a stand out event in the decathlon i have to come in with better special endurance 2…thinking ill alternate between lifting and doing tempo work in the morning practices and still work general fitness and speed work in the afternoons…
also i havent lifted upper body in about 6months because i felt muscle bound…im finding out that was prob the wrong approach…so ill have to start again expecially if i do the decathlon
