Buy a 12# Medball (like 20$ at sports authority) and you can do following:
1. Shot Put – You can actually do throws practice with this – and working with the big ball makes it easy to not worry about release technique which is not important for you right now anyway.
2. Discus – Hammer Hip throws
3. Javelin – 3 step or crow hop overhead throws
