The powercats have a G5 hard spike plate that forces you to go on the forefoot and maxcat upper, making it a good 100-400m spike.
I don’t have one but all my teammates own a pair, and they all ordered true to size.
About durability, it will hold alot, but the spikes will be useless after a week of training…
It comes with those lousy Omni-Lite ceramic spikes that wear off after 1 meet.
If you get them, also buy a bag of steel spikes and replace the Omni’s, it’s a stupid overalanyzers gimmick.
Shaving your legs will probably reduce more weight than putting on ceramic spikes, lol…
You can get pins for cheap at DickPond, Eastbay, Firsttothefinish, get the steel Xmas tree 1/4″ spikes (same style you get in your Powercats, but steel)
It is not recommended to train and race in 2 difference models. But it is wise to buy 2 similar models for training/competition. First get 1 pair and see if you like it though.
