1*40: 4.73 New PB
1*150: 17.25 New PB
1*100: 11.51 New PB
Comments: Well it's hard to say anything bad about a session where you set 3 new PB's. I wasn't feeling too good beforehand either, so this totally came out of the blue. After the first 30, which was pretty average, I thought it would just be a typical workout. But after breaking my PB by nearly a tenth in the 40, I knew I might be able to do something special. Still 17.25 didn't even cross my mind. I was thinking 17.3-17.4 if I ran it perfect. Probably more like 17.5. So needless to say I felt extremely excited. I probably shouldn't have done the last 100. It was still a PB but I had some fatigue left over from the 150 still.
Ice bath 2 hours post workout.

Light calisthentic workout/warmup, plus 20 minutes of stretching.
Tuesday March 2nd, 2004
Workout: 3 blocks starts, two out to 30, 1 out to 50, and 1*200 at 90%, + 1 at 95%
1*200@ 90%: Not timed
Comments: I pretty good session. I finally got my block setting right, and made note of where they are, and it really seems to have improved my start. I was getting out of the blocks as good as I can remember, and my top speed has always been good, so I feel confident! The 200 felt okay, I had trouble accelerating, but I managed to relax okay.

Rest. I feel trashed after two really fast speed sessions. I have my main indoor meet of the season on the weekend, where I will be running the 60, the 200, and the 4*200. Tommorrow we're just going to do some moderate speed exchange work, then Friday I might just do a light warmup and a stretch, maybe not though.
