so i had asked my coach about writing workouts for myself once a week. He allowed me to do that today, i decided to pull a workout from the summer
workout was scheduled as:
200m- under 24.5
6min rest
2×180 with 6 min rest
6 min rest
as many 100s under 12.1 as possible
200m- supposed to be around 25 if possible
actual times were:
200- 23.9
180- 22.7&22;.9
100- 12.06
100- 12.09
100- 12.6
i was SO BEAT by the time the 200 i ran a 27 with a large slowdown in the last 15meters.
^ i did this over the summer, i inteded to do the same workout here is what happened.
200 – 24.0X
165 (i screwed up the measurment, im estimating that it was a 165 or so) 20.XX
180 (measured it out more or less with my coach) – 22.5
100 – FUCKED THIS UP – 12.18 i failed because i think i thought i knew how fast 12.1 was this time and could try to conserve a bit.
I decided to stick to the workout and quit doing the 100’s and do a 200.
200 – 24.6
It was a pretty dam difficult workout.
Im starting to take it easier for weight lfiting fyi. Next weekend is my last indivudual meet if i dont manage to qualify with a 23.00 or a 11.40.
