last weeks results will be posted eventually… still not happy with it and just kind of dreading posting it and rethinking about everything.
tues – 6 x 150m’s ran them with encyclopedia colleen again at her pace (its a nice jog for me and time to recover)
Wed – we were at weston … my coach wanted me to do some 50m flys and some overspeed. (it was a cold and rainy day) I didnt want to do that much work, i felt tired and needed some rest. i was also nervous about going all out on my hamstring which only hurts accelerating to full 100 speed. So i went to 80% on the flys and thats it.
Thurs – jogged with colleen on some 80’s…. im trying to take this week light. Cuz of my hamstring nad because i think that anything i do this week wont be affecting me much for Saturday.
Friday – im going to foam roll and thats about it.
Saturday is at the the good ol Tufts track. ive more or less gotten over all that drama, but as always there is something that will be there for me. our 4 by 4 is seeded deadlast which sucks but not that all unexpected.
I am running the first leg for hte 4 by 4 which is going ot be interesting cuz im not used to three turn staggered starts. being a 200 runner my goal is always to catch the people by the hundred. i just hope i dont go out to hard and die. I think i can stay with these kids, its some of the other legs that im nervous about. if we put on our best 4 which we have never done we have 3 guys who can go sub 52, which means we wouldnt finish last. BUT if one guy (who is currently semi-injured) doesnt run there is a huge drop off to the next guy.
