well i havent posted in a while so here is what i have to say:

That was the quote for my last meet, its one of my all time favorites as it has some personal stories that go with it. I definitely feel that the quote helped me a lot in my race.
As for my night before a meet, (these arent excuses, in fact i did great so they cant be, just funny stories to me) i didnt end up getting back to my dorm room till very late about 1145ish. I then had to get my stuff and get out of my room as quick as possible because my roommate got a serious virus that eventually closed down my school, (not cuz of him, but it was a highly contagious virus that everyone was getting, he just happened to get it) i had to get all my stuff ready and go sleep in my captains suite. By the time i had gotten there after getting all my stuff for the meet and shaving cuz i had gotten my hair cut and i had to shave as this meet was very important as i had stated and i had to look good, it was close to 1230. I had to watch my video’s i have some video’s i watch before each meet the night b4 and the morning of, and i had to make my index cards. Needless to say i got on my captains futon and didnt even end up sleeping well. I probably got two hours of legit sleep. But just goes to show, when shown adversity sometimes you can do your best.
After that race i was pumped for Monday’s workout. (which i had to do at my home track because i had to go home while my roommate recovered. Being at my high school track had me pumped up even more)
The rest of my team was feeling a little banged up so my coach went easy on us, i asked for a harder workout and got it tho.
5x 200 with 45 sec rest i was supposed to hit 36 but i am pretty sure i was going quite a bit faster i didnt have a stopwatch so i just did what i could. then repeat
On the first set only my fifth one was i a little tired and on my second set my fourth and fifth i felt a little tired, but i had my high school track friends pushing me through so it was all good.
Lift
so there was no weights for the lift just:
Walking prisoner Lunges (20 steps alternating right and left x 3)- light or no weight.
Single leg squats 3 x 6 reps deep
4 x 20 speed squats (no weight)
TUES
We went very light tuesday
20 x 50m strides
Some core work was our only lift
I felt pretty good doing these, my legs felt nice.

I am not doing well in the LJ and its starting to make me angry, i seem to have lost EVERYTHING i did in high school. But so goes life, i am just going to keep on going and eventually things will workout
