Thanks for all the help. I just thought that if I did a 5×5 on military wednesday and then do say 3×8-10 on incline on friday, I'm working the same muscles twice and they'd get overtrained. I think your idea of BB volume is very, very high. I think they do no more than 20 sets total per a workout. It'd be like 6-8 sets on major muscle groups and 4-6 sets on minor muscle groups. That's what's worrying me.
Anyways, for basketball do you think step-ups would be better than split-squats. I was doing bulgarian split squats where your back foot is on a bench, but I started to worry about balance and safety so I dropped them. They did target the VMO pretty well and my glutes never felt so sore.
On monday's bench do you think I could switch it up with 3×3, 5×3, 5-4-3-2-1, etc?
