Yeah, I was mainly thinking of the higher %’s. Moderate reps at up to 70-75% doesn’t make me too sore and I assume that if I trained predominantly at those loads I would adapt to it.
I do like using higher reps, especially modified like the density hypertrophy work. I think it works great for building work capacity in early training. I just can never get past the sore feeling and once I would get to more maxV work I prefer to be fresh feeling rather than tight. I’m sure you feel the same, hence your sticking to what makes you less sore.
