Didn't run today–saw the doc and a therapist earlier in the week and both said no go for running for at least a couple weeks because it has developed into mildly strong tendonitis. It is a little worse than I thought apparently. I am seeing some progress in my treatment after dropping the bike and light running I was doing for more bodyweight circuits and the like as my training on top of the regular treatment (ultrasound, foam roll, stretching, etc.). The tendonitis @ the knee is way down and the tightness in the it band and tfl is improving.
On a side note, today would have been one of those days to run… Except a couple guys that are still out or just coming back from injury, most people hit season bests today and big ones at that (strictly talking 55m). I am hoping to gain some more fitness and strength while I cannot run and hopefully make some big moves when healthy.
