Ah I see…well then, I believe jumping has much to do with explosive take-off therefore I would reccomend you do majority of your running should be of shorter distance,high exertion; throwing in a 5km run(any distance above 3km will suffice) once in a while.
For fat loss, I’m not entirely sure of the answer. I’m pretty sure someone like Mike can help you the most on this part. For me, I mostly do anerobic(sprinting) stuff with the odd areobic(endruance) workout just to spice things up a little bit.
Time of your training is based entirely on your daily schedule and own opinion. Some people find it better to train in the morning while others like the later times. Experiment with that factor and go with what you are most comfortable with.
