why do accel devel with hills and do it normally on the track? whats the difference in result. ?
Acceleration development on a hill:
*Forces you to use good mechanics (the hill angle makes it much easier to get correct body angles and progressions).
*Increases concentric workload (which is more important for acc. dev) and reduces ecc. workload (making it appropriate for GPP).
*Provides training variety while still maintaining movement specificicity which is very important for training adaptation and prevention of mental staleness.
*Lower eccentric loading permits higher workloads.
