Also disappointing night for Dwain. He wanted to win that race so much. But shows even with all his experience when it came to the final he tried to search for something that was not there instead of holding what he had. Went from 2nd to 5th in 10m.
I Hope he bounces back, he is clearly in sub 10 sec shape.
Fingers crossed he is allowed to run in some meets in Europe at the end of the year.
Agreed, I think Dwain is a genuine role model for athletes now especially given how gracious in defeat he was when he knew he should have won that 100m final easily.
I definately think he is in sub 10sec shape and just hope he gets invited to some Diamond league meets, they have been a joke recently with the amount of ex-doping athletes that have been competing in them but yet still not inviting Dwain.
I fail to see how he can do anything better for the sport than to prove you can come back and run faster clean, he just needs the chance in a few big races.
