Thats identical to what I'm doing, except I'd change saturday to a less stressful workout on your CNS. I like to go with 2 days of tempo and extensive tempo at that to keep myself conditioned (maintain my form), but fresh! Saturday for me is really a day to stay active with light jogging/stretching etc… and allow my body to begin to recover for next week. Then give yourself a day off (sunday) and you'll be ready to go 100% on monday.
Also, I just started a 2 week pre GPP phase today that DOES include Intensive tempo 2x a week, which is the only time I'll do that.
