Anxious to hear some replies. The confusion to me seems to be a lack of description for what the athlete should feel while running. A description of what the feelings the athlete should have may be better than just using the word float or maintain or relax. In a way it’s kind of confusing considering the level of most athletes – sprint 40, float 30 to 40, sprint 30-40. Most athletes are going to be at top speed by 40 then they need to maintain the next 30 to 40 then sprint again for 30-40…….. What are good cues for what the athlete should feel while running not necessarily what they should look like while doing it?
