First of all just let me say that I am no technique guru. I don’t know everything. But I do know what works for me. Espescially when I’m studying tape.
If you notice something that looks incorrect go ahead and try to correct it. Go ahead and get advice, (as you are seeking to do at the moment).
However, keep in mind that each of our sprinting frames will be at least slightly different from the man running next to us. To me, when it comes down to the bottom line you ask yourself this…
Next time you are on the track, go off by yourself. Clear your mind completely, and take a light sprint down the runway – not bothering to look at your feet, not preoccupied thinking about your form or competition – now – question yourself… how do you feel? When you’re in motion what feels right, do you flow? Do you Feel efficient? Do you feel powerful?
My answer is simple, Ponder deep into this, question yourself about how you Feel, not how it appears though your eyes. If you feel right then chances are it’s just your unique form. If it feels wrong, fix it.
It’s not about how it looks, it’s about how it Works.
