eroszag,
Sorry, but I'm not really comfortable with putting names up, but you can look up names and events on ecu's website: http://www.ecu.edu
Coach Carson is more of a quartermile coach, but he does have quite a bit of success with short sprinters, ie: our 4×1 relay this season. A relay, I should add, that was comprised of 3 freshman. This is a team that has a very bright future the next couple years, and I'm excited to see how they will respond and continue to improve.
The weight training, at least this year, is handled by our SC coach, Michelle Boswell, who has done an absolutely outstanding job. As has been said, she is a former All-American hammer thrower here at ECU, and she really understands the sport and how the kids respond to the training program. She has the kids start off with lighter weight, higher reps, and gradually brings the weight up and reps down towards the end of the first semester. I haven't seen much of the second semester workout plan. Coach Carson trusts her very much, and really let's her do her own thing in terms of the weight training program. She's done a great job, and the kids have responded well.
