do you have a reference on that mortac.. i am very interest in the tendon changes from weight training.
Also i was on the thought process that a stiffer tendon produce better force accumulation and production.
I forget the exact references. You can try Special Strength Training Manual for Coaches by Verkhoshansky p. 81:
“The use of isometric exercises for a long period leads to a remarkable growth of intramuscular connective tissues. This increases muscle stiffness, that is, decreases their elasticity. This is a reason why, in diciplines involving high velocity dynamic muscle work, the prolonged use of isometric overloads is not suitable.”
Isometrics may have a role but I would keep them minimal in volume & duration. Please do not bring Jay Schroeder on here to argue.
