Ok for the backwords running. I would like have it all out, so i can train my hamstrings to run at high speeds, not just streghten them.
What do u mean weekly microcycle. This is just 1 week. I will have 2-3 weeks of training. This is just going to be the first week. it wont be the same for the other weeks. Same set up like monday hard tuesday tempo wed hard thursday tempo friday hard sat tempo.
ok for the plyos 3 times a week. There are really only 2 intense plyo days. Monday and friday. Wednsday are Just like buttkicks, highknees, powerskips. I think this isnt an overkill.
Im going to test out that baskitball warmup thing. Its too cold out to do ultimate frisbee, so me and my workout group will play basketball in back gym until we feel warmed up. Thanks.
Yes I am competing in the winter season. First meet is december 18th. practice starts 2 weeks after i start this program. (im hoping ill be able to continue some of this stuff added to my workouts) since winter track at my school isnt that seriuios.
Indoor Facility? Back gym. Thats where we will be doing most of the plyometrics.
2 other guys training with me.
Didnt think about how much of a beating that would be. I updated my workout so this wouldnt happen.
The uphills are about 20 degrees i think, ill take a real mesurement tommrow, and the length is about 35-45 meters.
, Im not sure if i should do downhill training on this hill. maybe its too much of a decline? is 20 degrees too much?
Im not sure why I run XC. Its just what i do i guess. Its fun, and im not bad at it, anywho, quitting xc now is not an option, since im top7, Im not going to let the team down like that. 18:22 PR.
Sprinting is what i really enjoy though, but like i said quitting xc is not an option, so i must balance both.
Hmm my post season time off. Intresting question. Well this saturday is state groups, so thats when it ends. 2 days later, monday, I start my workout.
Would “burnout” effect me since im going from longdistance to sprints?
