I use an approach similar to this to use my time in the weightroom most efficiently, as I dont have that much time to lift these days. I just do major lifts, and maybe 5 sets of 4 or 5 (i.e. squat, deadlift, incline bench, shoulder press, back row) and do some pullups/situps/pushups/dips in the morning. My question is after an inital phase of muscle hypertrophy, the muscle growth decreases drastically. My strength continues to increase, albiet at a much slower rate, but I dont get much more muscle mass. Why is this? Am I not eating enough perhaps?
edit* I should probably add that I have no desire to get bigger, if my strength increases without much of a weight increase then thats ideal. But at some point I’d assume the strength stops to increase, and then i’d have to increase muscle mass to increase strength…
