looks like you have some good potential in this event. You seem to grasp some of the key concepts of TJ for not having done it for too long. Along with what Joe was saying, definitely get that knee up to 90 degrees at takeoff(or close to it), but when you do that it’s going to be very hard to get a full cycle in (especially for short approach jumps.) It may not look as pretty because it will look like more of a kickback as apposed to full cycle but it’s more important to actually jump out and get decent distance than to short change knee drive and get a nice looking cycle in…plus if that free leg isn’t able to get back and get a good stretch on your first phase then it won’t be able to whip through as naturally for second phase. I don’t think the arms are a bad idea personally but keep working at it.
