Not enough info for me either. If he is moving from high volume/low intensity/general plyos to low vloume/high intensity/ specific plyos it could work.
Two days a week would work for High Jump too. However when intensities increase it will be hard to come back for a full HJ session. CNS will be shot and can lead to overtraining by the time you are expecting them to peak.
I am also a big fan of constant general work (general strength, multi jump, and med-ball circuits). I would like to see some speed endurance at 80-150m. Accels IMO is not enough.
Better off coming back here with examples of some sample weeks from specific times of year (pre-season, competition, peak) would help.
I’ve asked him a few follow up questions on this, and as soon as I get those questions answered, I’ll give you a better idea of what he is trying to accomplish.
