A few months ago, my left hip bone started to hurt. I’m a long and triple jumper, but my coach let us do hurdles recently and my lead leg is left. Could that have caused the problem?
It’s definitely possible but I’d say it’s unlikely.
Moreover, now my left leg is longer than my right, by about 1 cm. so much so that it looks as if I’m limping when I jog. Any suggestions on how to cure this?
Are you sure this wasn’t the cause of your pain and you’ve only just now noticed it that you’re experiencing pain? In either case you will need to find out the source of your leg length differential. Is it functional or anatomical, if functional, where does the problem originate, if anatomical, which bones are longer or shorter than the opposite side.
