I stand next to the standard (on my right, because i take off with my left foot) then I stick out my arm, so im an arms length form the standard, and take one step forward (left foot). Then i turn around and do my run up backwards 9the other way, not facing backwards), counting either 8 or 10 steps, depending on how big the apron is. This is where i start from. On my run up, i like to gradually get faster, until im four steps away, then i start my curve and accelerate. I jump up, driving my right knee, then i flick back my head, and try to land on my face.
But why take advice from me, i haven’t jumped since sophmore year, when i jumped 5’11”
