why does this happen though? wouldn’t it seem like someone who was running extrodinary times as a kid would just continue to get faster and faster and set new records? for instance the world junior record is 43.87. thats blazin. what happens to people like this to keep them from goin on to set other records? and why is it that the adult record holders often do not have this extrodinary talent early on?
its just not that simple. bompa refers to this as a kind of burnout career wise instead of burning out in a season.
