I don’t know what to make of what you just said. I usually compete in spikeless meets and I got to use spikes in my last one. My progression is 7.08, 7.07, 7.02, 6.88. Insane improvements, are you being facetious? My track coach ran the first sub 48 indoor 400 in D3 history and has set many d3 national records, and has always stressed that the hip flexors are a main component of sprinting ability. I listen to him and improve in every meet. So I guess my answer is yes, hip flexors helped enhance my performance greatly, and definitely even after the first 10m.
