Re- Size difference between legs: My understanding is its pretty common with jumpers, especially LJ/HJ. I would not worry too much, all you can do is add some unilateral lifting, which mike has in your program anyway. I think it tends to be worse in those who brake too much on takeoff or have done so in the past.
PS do you think the basketball took something out of you for your jumps day… repetitive jumping as an active recovery for jumping?
