– normal squat – 2×3 @85%
– Pause squat – 2×3 @70%
alternated with
– jumps x3 – sit on box in deep squat position, jump to 30inch box.
bench – 5×4
SLRDL – 2×8
Shot throws – 3×2
Pretty good day. I’ve started to try and become consistant with my first 10 or so metres now for every sprint i do. I will be using this for my approach as well. I feel this will help me steer and hit the board. Today i was bang on a 12.40m mark with my right foot each time which was pleasing. I felt fast and also like i could take off pretty good from the speed. 330 lbs clean pull felt good as well, i think 300 will come for sure this training cycle. Overall pretty good. Looking forward to full approaches tomorrow, although not sure what i’ll have in the tank after todays 40’s.
