Find something that resembles what you would do on the baseball field. Get into your batting stance, whether righty or lefty, and work on sprinting to first. Start off just running about a third of the way, going all out, then gradually increase it to the point that you’re running the whole 90 ft. Same thing in the field. Put yourself in position like you would be in a game and work on short, all out sprints in either direction. It’ll work on your acceleration from the different positions you’ll be in on the field.
