I have been training this year in order to improve my 100m speed/time. I have noticed my stride length is increasing without over striding but I dont feel my stride rate is improving. I also seem to have a slow 30m sprint from a 3pt or block start position.
The question is how do I improve my stride rate since am 5’6, I should have an advantage with stride rate but I am only average.
I feel fast and I am stronger I just have to conquer less than 11sec 🙂
Firstly what is your stride rate?
Secondly do you do much hip flexor strengthening?
