You are going to have to work on managing pace of training session.
I agree. They won’t be worth a darn come outdoor season if you keep that up.

I’ve found HS females are hard to train at 150m distances this time of year.
You lost me on this one. Can you go into more detail as to what you mean?[/quote]
I think 150m puts them at a distance which if you are trying to do IT work they are going to suffer. It’s going to be 19-20s for an above average HS girl at her best doing over that distance outside of a race. When told to run such a distance they’ll cover the first 100m regardless between 14-15s and end up at 150 in 21-23s instead of 24s. You are working the edge of the first real drop in speed with most HS females when working at 130-150m. They go faster because they don’t understand pace well enough to hit times at those distances at this point in the season. So you work shorter distances with more reps or longer distances with less reps. I tend to use longer distances and less reps. The big problem with using longer reps for females like 200m is you can’t do much with them if they are at 31-32s race pace for 200m because you begin approaching the 40s barrier while shorter distances have the problem of become more like true maxV work.
