We also have Tuesday meets as well. I treat them as special endurance. Mondays on those weeks we go hard acceleration or maxV or sometimes speed endurance because they dont matter for anything in our conference standings.
Monday – Accel/MaxV/Speed Endurance, multi jumps, multi throws lift hard this day
Tuesday – triangular
Wed- Extensive Tempo
Thur – Technique and Low circuit work
Fri – Premeet Stim
Sat – Compete
With the question about Intensive Tempo for short sprinters like I said before this is the first year going to two different groups I guess if they have the possibility of running a 400 then we are going to put them with the long sprinters. If they are power speed mostly then that is what they should focus on in my opinion.
Kool, that was my next question, what if you cant spilt the groups in short and long sprinters how would this change your training setup throughout the 3month period? Do you race your guys in the 100-200 every meet?
