Why you can’t post your gym workouts, any educated coach or athlete will understand about the lost in strength. How much strength did you drop? From what I can gather you didn’t lift for a couple weeks so how can you drop that much strength in such a short time period. I can drop squats for 6 weeks and still have a adequate strength base when returning, so I’m sure your numbers isn’t that bad.
I think it was 3 weeks (not trying to be pedantic), also I’ve onyl been lifting since late October so my body isn’t used to it, so a few weeks puts me back on step one almost. Also it may not be a great drop in strength, but the last time i went back in the gym after a bit of a breka from it – i was really, really sore in my lower back, glutes and hamstrings which is why im keeping it a lot lower as could barely move with that soreness. You expect soreness after gym sessions but that was too much!
You can check my indoor thread for numbers – the numbers will be 20kg or so less on each thing except clena and jerks which have stayed the same. As they were very under-developed anyway.
Away from the gym, ive just picked up quite a bad blister on my little toe – which was really hurting when i warming down …
