First question: Yeah, thats pretty much exactly what I am saying. The weather was horrible for most of the spring, with late March and very late May being the only exception. Since I work in a school I have summer off so I have much more free time to devote to proper training rather than having to hurry or workout after a stressful day at work.
Second question: I have a 3 lane indoor track (lane 3 is 150m) that I can run on in spikes. I can go about 50-55m before I have to prep to crash into the polevault pits I put against the wall. I will definitely be doing MaxV work in the fall and then falling back into accel and more fast but controlled tempo for the winter in order to maintain work quality.
