Excited as all hell for this week. Running the 60 and opening up the 200 with some solid competition at UW-Madison.
I also started my first unloading cycle in awhile last friday. Saturday marks the beginning of my indoor comp phase and I’m feeling great.
Todays workout was (omg I’m posting something I did rather than just using this as a chat thread!)
Speed day warm up which includes various hurdle mobility drills, medball throws and other bouncy/ rhythmic exercises
4×25-15-30m sprint float sprints w full recovery
3x30m stiff legged bounds
4×2 PC @ 275 focusing on clean teachnique, bar speed and quick hip action
3x5broad (furthest was 55 feet)
3×4 squats to parallel, 385, 405, 385 focusing on controlled lowering and good acceleration of the bar up
An elastic medball throwing series of 12 throws- 4 of each- single hop chest pass, single hop blf, single hop ohb
I’m feeling pretty damn good right now.
