wouldnt this take away from the idea that weight should be placed on the hands so when their lifted at the start, the body will fall forward, horizontally, proceeding to the drive phase?
[/quote]I don't agree with this idea / philosophy. In my experience too much pressure on the hands leads to extremely low departure angles and slow deparature times.
