mike, i said in my previous post that I started out with strength (6-8 reps) then moved onto power (3-5 reps). ive been doing power for two months now, and plan to continue with maintnence since the season has begun. so from what u guys said, the core exercises (squats, deadlifts, bench press, power clean)should be 1-3 reps and auxillary (curls, lat pulldowns, etc..) should be 6-8? how many sets then?
It depends on your volume leading up to this point. I use any where from 6-10 sets for the OLs and 4-7 for the static lifts.
