This is the key. You have to remember what you’re training for. And while drop offs in strength are unwanted they will be a natural consequence of making micro shifts in training emphasis to accomplish what you really want to accomplish in your sport of choice. Having said that, strength probably shouldn’t drop off too much, how much of a drop off are you noticing?
