Not quite. Although milk has a relatively low glycemic index, it has a high insulin index. So while it won't raise your blood sugar a whole lot, it will certainly cause a decent rise in insulin secretion. Personally, if you're looking for a before bed product, I'd look to cottage cheese instead. It has a lower carb, higher protein makeup. Mix it with a bit of chocolate casein powder and some almond butter, and you've got a pretty solid pre-bed meal.
