Well I wish Sakalauskas all the best for the future. If we get another white guy running under 10secs that would be great, I don’t care where he’s from.

I know looks can be very deceiving. Do you know if he lifts weights?.

Or are you insinuating Sakalauskas doesn’t lift weights? but if he did, he would break 10secs & have a better 60m time?.

I know for sure that he doesn’t lift. His coach doesn’t advocate weights for his sprinters. For Sakalauskas his program works pretty well I would say. He gets better quality work from sprinting. Training volume is lower compared with most programs generally speaking.

If he got tailwind of +2.0 during that race so result would be under 10.10. But running under 10 is not an easy task. We could speculate what would happen if he lifted weights. Remember if you add something to your program especially of a higher intensity so something you should lower, so in this case might be sprinting. I could see that weights might help during the first part of the race at his level b/c 6.70 at 60m is not strong compared with his 10.14. So if weights would help him during acceleration phase but leaving the same top speed abilities so he would run 100m faster. But it’s always easier said than done.
