I am new to the forums and I've read a couple of your posts. I am a 7400+ decathlete and also multi-events coach. One of your posts said you were going to workout 3 times a week. I don't know if your class or work schedule is too demanding, but if you really want to get good, I would recommend training at least 5 days a week. Honestly. It doesn't have to be 110% every day but you should make sure to get plenty of technique work in while you are developing your mastery of the events.
