ok so heres what i think. i need to allign speed work with ME days so it would look like:
Monday: speed, ME1
tuesday: low intensity high volume weights (50-60%)
thursday: recovery etc.
friday: speed, ME2
saturday: low intensity high volume weights (50-60%)
sunday: complete rest
ok im not sure exactly how ill work it, because i have to avoid CNS burnout and ME training is very draining. anybody have thoughts on DE training? is it useful for track? i figured id leave it out, but maybe i shouldnt. im not sure how exercise rotation will work either, maybe an ME day for an upper body lift and one for a squat/oly. ill post more thoughts later, but any thoughts so far?
