I totally understand what you are saying.
I have been doing Track for 7 years now, and understand that it takes quite a bit of work to accomplish anything in track. And I know the strains the 400m places on a runner, and how much effort it takes to run just a 60s 400m let alone a 51s.
And I set my goal at something difficult to acheive, knowing full well it will take far longer than I would hope to accomplish in.
But, I run like a 55s and I really want to compete in college because I really love track and field, and the cut off for the team is 51s as a freshman. So, I hope to obtain this goal through a lot of hard work.
oh yeah, I have no clue what my 100, 200 times are because unless you ask at the meet they will not tell you your time and I havent run one since the 8th grade (12th grade now) And i’ve been training as a 400m runner for the past 4 years, but we really don’t train like a 400 runner because of how the coach goes about doing our workouts.
But thank you for the help man.
