I believe at the end of the week he ends up with something in the 70-75 mile range.
I don’t have any information regarding Nick’s specific weight training, but I do know that the 800 guys under Gagliano during the Enclave days were using some reasonably heavy squatting and cleans with maybe a bit of accessory work.
Finally, I recall him commenting that Friday was his super easy recovery day, and he enjoys spending an afternoon away from running and such each week to recharge mentally. However, I have recently become aware of some research demonstrating that sitting for long periods of time is critical to running world class 800s. This could be the next PED.
