Dan,
How you doing mate?
I’m injured and have been injured since April 17th…the entire time i was hurt and tried to do as much as i could without making it worse. This happened but the injury never got any better. During that time i couldn’t do a lot of things i wanted to do. Cleary wasn’t ideal.
Throughout the last 5 years it’s VERY clear that when my weights are around PR level everything else is great also. When i don’t lift as much or as often my performance suffers. Sorry you don’t like that. It is funny that you said that though because i’ve hardly been able to lift for 3 months now. I think i’ve lifted over 80% maybe 5 times in 3 months…
Specific long jump training??? Can you please explain this. What is specific long jump training is your opinion? Thanks
I will once again say this. A week or 2 before I got injured, i jumped 7.82m in practice which was practice PR. I was also running through the pit from a full approach pop up and my first foot was hitting at 7m and my second foot at around 8.20m. Again, i had never done this before.
Injuries suck and this is the longest i’ve ever been hurt for.
